Down-draft Grossing table
The down-draft grossing table is designed to provide a safe and hygienic working environment in pathology and histology laboratories. Equipped with an efficient down-draft air extraction system, it ensures continuous airflow across the entire work surface, effectively capturing and removing airborne contaminants and unpleasant vapors generated during tissue slicing, slide preparation, and small-scale dissections.
This system helps maintain formalin concentrations well below the Maximum Allowable Concentration (MAC) limits across the entire vacuum-affected area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The table supports both precision and cleanliness, making it ideal for detailed laboratory procedures.
For proper operation, the unit must be connected to a side-mounted exhaust system, which should be installed and provided by the customer.
